For David, every blank page is an invitation. 

Whether it’s a menu, a recipe, or a basket of ingredients, his instinct is the same: roll up your sleeves and create. 

That spark is exactly why he leads CORE’s culinary team. He partners with regional and national restaurant chains, developing recipes, pressure-testing new items, and translating ideas into profitable, on-trend menu solutions that enhance the guest experience. 

His ideation sessions always start with listening. What’s working? What’s not? What’s possible here? Armed with data and a wealth of experience, David and his team develop practical, operator-focused concepts that make menus stand out. 

After more than a decade with CORE, he still calls this his dream job. Why? The thrill of watching ideas jump from paper to the guest’s plate. And seeing owners and operators succeed simply never gets old. 

Outside the kitchen, not much changes. Whether he’s playing guitar, tending his tropical garden, or doing something creative, David is happiest when his hands are bringing something to life.
